Wally is awesome and so helpful!!!! Our car window got broken between Sunday night and Monday morning. Because it is a new car and we want the original part for it Wally helped us order it right away but we still need to wait to get it fixed. My husband took the car to Wally really late last night and all his guys have started packing up for the night. BUT since we have to drive our two year old daughter around Wally personally cleaned the broken window glasses by himself and we surely appreciated. Though our part hasn't arrived yet we know he will take good care of us! We definitely recommend this shop!

Wally is awesome. He just saved our Volvo SUV after the dealer said it was too expensive to repair. Wally did all of the repairs including airbags( that couldn't have been easy) for much less than I expected. Thanks Wally! You will not find a better, more straight forward guy, who's level of service is over the top. I won't go anywhere else now. This place is by far the best mechanic I have ever used. First having the ability to do SMOG and Oil Changes in one place is a time saver. Wally worked on my 1990 F-150 and was honest and straight forward with me. The computer failed and basically was telling the diagnostic systems that everything was broken. Wally said he could fix the computer but that he couldn't guarantee that it was the only problem and that there wasn't something that caused the computer to fail. Which could bring me back for the same problem. Another mechanic could easily have convinced me to move forward with the repairs, without making any reference to the chance that there could be additional repairs. Ultimately we decided it was time to put the old truck down. Wally has secured a customer for life.

Walts is one of those few car places you can count on to be honest. We have been using him for a few years and he will tell you what does and doesn't need to be done. Fair and honest. He is our go to car guy.

I've used Walt's for a few years now, and the guy continues to impress and surprise me. He's very knowledgeable, and as honest as the day is long! An example? We brought our 2008 Grand Cherokee in because the turn signals were out. Jeep said they needed to take the whole column apart, and it would be over $600. Wally concurred, but said, "Let me check it out a little more". Ten minutes in, he had the column slightly apart, and he fixed it! Loose wire or switch. Done. $60 or $80, I don't remember, but a heck of lot less than what Jeep wanted. This is just one of the pleasant surprises we've had through the years. I highly recommend this guy!!

I needed someone to help me figure out what was wrong with my Ford Focus and after i had a few mechanics take a look at it - no one knew what was going wrong. The compression test showed nothing, the computer showed everything running fine. The stellar reviews on Yelp led me to Walt's and i am so happy that it did. after working on my car for a few days, he figured out the simple problem that no one else could. I called Walts first because of their great Yelp Reviews..I wanted to take my car to a mechanic that was trustworthy, and that would do a great job on my vehicle because I drive over 100+ miles per day. Needless to say, I need my car to run perfectly. I originally brought the car in because of groaning breaks, and a flat tire. What Walt and his team found, was that my car was running on unsafe tires, practically non-existent brakes, and an alignment problem that was causing me to fly through tires every year. Walt finished working on my car in a very reasonable time frame, and gave me an extremely fair deal on the parts and labor! I've waited a few weeks to write my review, because I wanted to be sure my car really ran perfectly since being at Walt's shop. I have been extremely impressed on how different my car feels. It runs and drives tighter, I feel more safe out on the road, and I can genuinely tell a difference in how well the car is driving. I highly recommend checking out Walts Service next time you need your vehicle maintained! Quick service, high quality work, and honest mechanics, I couldn't ask for more.

I brought my '85 Scottsdale into Walt's because the water pump failed on the highway. An appointment for SMOG was scheduled for a Monday, and the truck was towed in on a Sunday. Within the day the shop had the pump fixed and also found the source of a really annoying noise. I am thankful Wally was straight with me at all times, and I understood his concern about the age of my vehicle. Thank you Wally for doing all you could for me.

He is so good I almost don't want other people going to him and making him busy! But bottom line he and his team are excellent mechanics and when they say they are going to do something, they do it. They care. Walt's Danville Service is the best out there, bar none.
